Our social building night brings a little creativity to your evening in Temple Bar. There are bricks to build with, challenges to get stuck into and plenty of opportunities for a chat along the way. Whether you’re a regular LEGO builder or haven’t touched a brick since childhood, you’re welcome at the table.

What happens at LEGO Night?

The evening starts with a chance to settle in and meet the other builders before our host introduces the theme. Then it’s time to explore the bricks, decide on your idea and start putting it together.

We supply the LEGO and building materials, so there’s nothing to prepare or bring. Once the building is finished, everyone gets a chance to show their creation and see how the other tables approached the challenge. No previous experience is needed.

You might arrive with a carefully considered plan. You might change your mind halfway through. Either way, working out what to make is part of the fun. Give that ambitious idea a go, experiment with a few different shapes and see where the evening takes you.

A different idea for your next Dublin date night

If you’re looking for a date night with something to do together, a building challenge gives you an easy starting point.

There’s an idea to discuss, decisions to make and usually a reason to laugh when the finished result takes an unexpected direction. You can compare approaches, trade suggestions and discover just how strongly you both feel about the placement of one tiny brick.

Bring your friends or come along yourself

LEGO Night welcomes friends, couples, colleagues and solo guests. If you’re coming on your own, you can join a team and get involved in the challenge.

For a group of friends, it’s an answer to that familiar “what should we do?” message. Pick a date, book your places

and give yourselves something new to talk about.

Coming alone? Having a shared activity can offer a straightforward way to start a conversation. Asking someone about their build or offering an idea gives you something to chat about from the beginning.
